Congratulations, your domain(s) is sold!
ZzTv.org Sale price: $69.00 USD
Got an email that a name I did not renew got purchased on Namejet for $69. Fabulous has a deal with NameJet and they include their customer in the profit.
Invoice Breakdown:
Commission..........: $-27.60
Domains.............: $69.00
Purchases..........: $-9.49
I netted $31.91, now if there was a bidding war for the name, the amount obviously would be higher. Would be great if all registrars did this. And maybe someone at a conference or somewhere else can ask all the other registrars, "If Fabulous can do it why can't you do it ?"

To Fabulous I say: Chapeau!!!
And I sponsor myself this headline to help spread this very fair practice with the hope other registrars will follow this example or at worst Fabulous get benefit of their nice behavior.

Wow - thanks for the tip. I'm tempted to transfer a bunch of domains to Fabulous and then let them expire a year later. (With the troubles Moniker has been having, it may be the right time to make that move anyway.)

Randomo,
If you do transfer your domains to Fabulous be aware that you have to sign up for the program where your expired domains can get sold.
I do not believe it is automatic.

Many people have been doing this then the domain gets renewed by the domainer who does not want to pay commission, or wants a higher price, people just got sick of it, and stopped going to namejet... nothing new here...

People go to name jet everyday you must be crazy

@Trico - Thanks for pointing out that I would need to sign up.
@Hybrid - Thanks for the link to the form.
@Ron - I know buyers feel bad when that happens, but it sure hasn't stopped NameJet from drawing a lot of buyers. (I've won many domains there, & I think only one was grabbed back by the owner.)
