This is a great observation - one of several exciting headlines on Domaining.com in recent days!
Google announced it is getting into the local business coupon business:
https://www.google.com/offers/t#!subscribe
so this must be an extension of its testing for online advertisers - cool!
Groupon, who wouldn't sell to Google earlier this year, is going to get a spanking:
Groupon is Effectively Insolvent

If Google allows its affiliates to offer coupon-tied ads, it will be a datafeed for my:
FlipCouponCodes.com
&
FlipCouponCode.com
Thanx for info!

Haven't seen it before.
I have a question for you. Do you think there is money to be made domaining today?
Let's say I don't have any domains, what's the best way to buy old domains/make money?

@question I think there is money to be made. You need to have a plan. You need to know how much money you can spend, and what ROI you are looking for. If you are handregging a name looking for $20,000 sale, that probably not realistic.
You can buy names at GoDaddy Auction and check for age,if you want to buy an older domain.
Focus on quality, buy a name that you can say, my child or my grandmother could spell and would know what to expect with the name.
Best of luck
