Thank you to Elliot and all those that voted

Elliot Silver ran a best moderator contest on his blog. Thanks to Jeff Overman I was nominated as one of the five mods up for a $200 prize that Elliot was awarding out of his own pocket.

It is very generous of Elliot  to recognize forum moderators and put up his own money. So to Elliot thank you very much for the effort.

Truthfully with the likes of Donna Mahony and Adam Dicker in the contest I was certainly out of my league. I have the utmost respect for both and they have contributed and accomplished much more in this industry than I have. It was an honor just to be in the same post with the two of them along with the other two nominees: Johnn from DNF and G R from IDNforums.

I am glad Donna won as she puts a lot of effort into maintaining Domain BoardRoom as a unique place. I also want to thank all those that voted for me, most of these people came from the place where I met them years ago, the Namepros .TV sub forum.

So to Jeff and Marlowe and Ronnie and Bob and Kevin and George and all the others who voted for me thank you for your generosity in taking the time to vote for me. I appreciate it and I am going to be sending Elliot a $50 donation for Ronald Mc Donald House as my gratitude, this way there is something tangible that comes from your efforts.

So again thank you very much.

Ray, you were not "out of your league" in any way at all. You made the list because you belonged there!

Congrats to Donna! Ray-you paid your dues and one of the best moderators. You formed the sub forum for dot tv. One of the most dedicated moderators out there. All of the people in the group are top moderators,owners of forums and you deserved to be in the group.

Congrats to everyone being in the elite group.
