Over 5% of all LLL.co hit Go Daddy Auctions today and they all have a bid

924 LLL.co are expiring today on Go Daddy and each and every one has at least one bid.  Most are the $10 back order bid. There are a couple with multiple bids. YGD.co is at $75 and leads the pack. Most of the 924 are the letter combinations that most domainers in English speaking countries do not favor. Most are still running for another couple hours if you are interested.

Lori Anne Wardi from .Co featured in two articles

Lori Anne Wardi VP for .CO, responsible for matters involving brand strategy, business development and global communication, was featured in two articles over the last couple days.

Lori Anne participated in our women in domaining series and Tuesday she was featured in Womenetics.com.

The article talks about how Lori Anne got involved from the beginning with .Co. From the article:

Today TheGlassHammer.com did a piece on Lori Anne and about her journey from where she started to where she is now.

Dot Co puts out some trends and statistics for September

In a new blog post at Cointernet.co Crystal Peterson went over some trends for the extension, check out the blog post for some charts and other info.

Interestingly enough Bermuda becomes one of the Top 10 countries for .CO registrations for the first time at the #10 position.  Both China and India have been increasing market share over the past few months with new registrations to be in competition with Germany for the #6, #7 and #8 positions.

Through the first quarter of 2012, the .CO namespace showed a total of 76.4% active domains. Of that, 22% are considered live dedicated sites and 41% are considered redirected. The remaining active sites are made up of parking (2%) and referral sites (11%). This shows a decrease in referral and redirected sites and an increase in live dedicated sites over the 4th quarter of 2011.

The auction closes 3/30/12 at 3:41 pm Eastern time.

Pick the closing price and the person closest will win a free .com or .co registration of their choice at Name.com.

You have up to one day before the close of the auction so that will be 3/29/12 3:41 pm Eastern time.

Rules:

The auction must close for there to be a winner.

The price when it closes will be the price that's used to determine the winner, if the auction gets adjusted later that will not count.
